Privacy Policy

Last updated October 20, 2026

This policy explains what Travis Glover ("Acorn Pages", "we", "us") collects when you use acornpages.com and scheduleaid.com, their subdomains and the sites we host (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It is part of our Terms of Service.

Two kinds of people

Customers are the people and businesses that sign up for a site. Visitors are the people who read a customer's site, subscribe to its newsletter, send it a message or request a booking. For visitors' information, the customer whose site it is decides why it is collected and is responsible for it; we process it on the customer's behalf to provide the Service. If you are a visitor with a question about your information, contact the site's owner first; we will help them answer you.

What we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash), your site's name and address, and the settings you choose.
  • Your content: the pages, pictures, files, newsletters, subscriber lists, bookings and other material you put on your site, including any personal information of your visitors it contains.
  • Payment information: our payment processor, Stripe, collects and stores your card details; we never see the full card number. We keep Stripe's identifiers for your customer record and subscription, and your subscription's status and dates.
  • Email forwarding information: if your site forwards mail sent to addresses at its domain, we keep each message only until it's forwarded (seven days at most), and for 30 days a note of who sent it, to which address and where it went - never what it said.
  • Referral partner applications: if you apply to refer people to us, your name, email address, website, what you tell us about who you would refer, and how you would like to be paid - to decide on your application, and to pay you what you earn.
  • Email delivery information: for each newsletter sent, which addresses it went to and whether Amazon's email service reported it delivered, bounced or marked as spam, and the unsubscribe requests it prompted. These let us honour unsubscribes and protect our ability to deliver mail.
  • Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and when, and error reports, in server logs kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
  • Payments to a site: if you pay a site we host at one of its payment links (dues, a deposit, an invoice), your name, email address, the reference you give and the amount, kept for the site's owner's records and in their download; your card goes to Stripe, on the site's owner's own Stripe account, and never to us. The owner's own terms govern what you pay for, and refunds.
  • Reviews: if you leave a review on a site we host, your name, your words and your rating, and your email address if you give it - shown on the site (the address never is) once the site's owner approves it, and kept until they delete it. The owner decides whether a review is shown. If a site's owner asks you for a review, we send you one email with the link on their behalf and keep only its delivery record.
  • Members: if you ask to be a member of a site we host, your name, your email address and what you say about who you are, kept while the site's owner keeps you as a member or your request waits; when you sign in, when you last did. The owner decides who is a member.
  • Visitor counts: for each site we host, how many times each page was viewed each day, how many views came from a search engine, a social site, another site (by its domain) or none, and how many were on a phone - counted without cookies and without keeping anything that identifies a visitor, so they can't be traced to anyone. We keep them for 400 days, and the site's owner sees them.
  • Cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in; a "remember me" cookie if you ask for it; and, on our sign-up pages, a cookie that remembers for 60 days which referral link brought you. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • From third parties: Google reCAPTCHA protects our sign-up and contact forms and may collect information about your browser to tell people from bots, under Google's privacy policy. A site that shows a map loads it from Google Maps.

How we use it

To provide, secure, support and improve the Service; to bill you and send you receipts and notices about your subscription, including price changes; to send the newsletters customers ask us to send; to prevent abuse and enforce our Terms; to comply with the law; and to tell you about the Service. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for other people's advertising.

Who we share it with

Service providers that work for us, only to the extent needed: Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage and email delivery, in the United States), Stripe (payments), Google (reCAPTCHA and maps), OpenAI (the image model that paints pictures a site's owner asks for, from the words they give), Anthropic (the AI model behind the editor's assistant, which is sent only what a feature needs: the page or words an owner asks it to read, write or describe, a picture to describe, a question for the help, a spreadsheet's column headings - never its rows - and a contact-form message that may be spam, to judge whether it is), and the registrars through which domains are bought. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect the rights, safety or property of anyone, and to a successor if our business is sold or merged, who will be bound by this policy.

How long we keep it

Account information and your content: while your subscription lasts, and after it ends until deleted under our Terms. Email delivery events: 365 days, after which only counts are kept. Downloads of your site (everything on it, your subscriber list included, made when you ask): 7 days, or until you delete them. Server logs: a short period. Backups: about 35 days, after which deleted information leaves them too. Stripe keeps payment records as its rules and the law require.

Your choices

You can see and change your account details and your content from your site's settings, and download everything on your site - its pages, pictures, subscribers, newsletters and messages - from there at any time, or your subscriber list alone from the subscribers page. To delete your account and its content, cancel your subscription and email glovertravis@gmail.com. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and we honour it at once. You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, at glovertravis@gmail.com; we will not treat you differently for asking. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we do not sell or share personal information as that law defines those terms.

Security

Connections to the Service are encrypted, passwords are hashed, access to our systems is limited to those who need it, and we keep backups. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be lost or accessed without permission.

Children

The Service is for adults running a business or practice. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 as a customer, or from children under 13 as visitors; if you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.

Where it lives

We operate from the United States and store information there. If you use the Service from elsewhere, you agree to its transfer to and processing in the United States.

Changes

We may change this policy. We will post the new version here with its date, and for changes that materially affect you we will email the address on your account first.
